To say that the wedding dresses in Marchesa’s spring 2012 bridal collection are “breathtaking” would be a total understatement. I couldn’t just flick through the photos the way I normally do; I had to take my time viewing each gown so I could appreciate the intricacies of its designs. This collection is highly influenced by vintage silhouettes (see the stunning short dress with lace peplum below) and Asian influences, as well touches of mother nature’s kiss. After all, what’s a spring collection without soft chiffon roses and crystal vines? The British designers behind Marchesa truly outdid themselves this season.
